Much like my photos from other places from this trip, I've added a number of photos to hopefully convey what its like to be there. It is quite impressive and amazing especially considering its more recent history.

Destroyed by Allied firebombs in 1945 only a few months before the end of WWII, people can argue the merits for and against the attack endlessly. But one thing is for sure, Dresden is back. You may in fact want to do a google search for images of the devastation just to see how far things have come.

In any case we had only one day here, but I would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks goes out to Nygil for the use of his tripod to do the night shots.
