It was a challenge to distill 1,100 photos into about 100. These photos cover our trip to Germany, Czech Republic and Austria in 2008. They include the initial group of photos I chose to display. Many more photos have since been added to the specific location galleries.

The cities we stayed over night in were Munich, Berlin, Dresden, Prague, Cesky Krumlov, and Vienna. We also visited Dachau, Greater Bavaria, Litomerice, Melk and others.

My goal was always to give a sense of place to the locations, to find a cross section of what I saw, knowing that I merely scratched the surface. The most time I had in anyone city was 3 days and in some cases only a couple hours or less.

Wonderful pictures. Sure brings back great memories of the trip. I am envious of the use of a tripod in Cesky Krumlov. Thank you for sharing.
